Full Throttle
so, i've had the most messed up day. I woke at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, it's 2 a.m. on Friday and i have not had a full night's sleep. it might seem like no biggie to those of u who r used to this kind of thing but I'M NOT. I stayed up Wednesday night to finish an english paper, then i decided to have an energy drink (Full Throttle) after a meager breakfast. BAD IDEA. I got the shakes like mad. i had to skip physics and sleep for about an hour then get up again and have lunch and attend class, during which i struggled to stay awake, while feeling on edge and having a most uncomfortable burning sensation in my stomach. I felt like i'd done some weird illegal drug and was experiencing the after-effects. I got a bit more sleep in the afternoon, about 2 hours. so in ... 42 hours i've only slept for roughly 3 1/2 hours. :s. Now i shall have some much needed sleep and hope this messed up feeling goes away in time for my calculus test! XD

university life
so how's me first year in uni going? pretty darn awesome. it just sucks though, that everyone (ok not EVERYONE, just being dramatic) thinks that if u don't drink or club then your life completely sucks. in fact some of u r probably nodding in agreement. *sigh* pardon me for preferring to curl up in bed and read, or bang my head instead of getting drunk. i totally get how going to a club with friends can be awesome, but must we be surrounded by drunks? worse yet, must we be the drunks?
anyway, hopefully i will soon revisit that sketchy place called the pavillion and maybe, just maybe, i'll mosh :)

To mosh or not to mosh
so i went to my first real metal concert last night, at a quite shady place called the pavillion. the bands were severance, ninjaspy, we're doomed and black moor. i missed severance, but made it for the other 3. i learned, the hard way, to stay away from the pit if i don't plan on moshing. i spent about 10 mins quickly getting out of the way of moshers while still trying to enjoy the music til i realized i should just back up. it kinda sucked though, i wanted to be in front, by the stage, but doing so would probably have resulted in serious injury. about 3/4 through the concert i had the sudden urge to mosh but i restrained it, now is not the time for me to get anything broken. maybe next time, i'll just do a quick run through the pit and see how that works.
